The 'Battles of the Ancient World' game system offers a tactical simulation of notable battles from ancient history spanning from 1457 B.C. to 451 A.D. The game includes 18 scenarios, each representing a significant historical battle, giving players the opportunity to play as either side. Units in the game are modeled after the real units that took part in these battles, with actual strengths ranging between 250 and 1,200 men. The maps faithfully recreate the terrain where each battle occurred, aiming to provide a mix of playability and historical accuracy.

Featuring over 100 unique units throughout all missions, players will command a diverse range of troops such as elite Roman Legionaries and Persian Scythed Chariots, each with its own distinct abilities crucial for victory in battle.
